How It All Started

When we started our journeys it wasn’t on any of our lists. We didn’t know anyone who had been there, and the idea of getting there felt just too crazy. But when we found ourselves in South America and started to seriously look into the possibility, visiting the White Continent suddenly felt like it was within reach.

There were lots of things we had to figure out ourselves, like what was the best time to visit, which itineraries were more suitable for what we wanted to see, and what vessel to go with. After months of research, we finally took a leap of faith.

When we made it there, everything felt unreal. The surreal stillness, the overwhelming scale of the glaciers, the charming beauty of seeing penguins, seals and whales in their untouched habitats — we were in awe. The kind of awe that stays with you for a lifetime.

That’s why we started this company: to bridge the distance between travellers from Southeast Asia and the White Continent. To help more people from this part of the world realise that this dream destination isn’t as out of reach as it seems. And to help travellers to design the best trip by leveraging learnings from our own first-hand experiences.

We believe Antarctica is one of the last true frontiers — it has a way of staying with you long after you’ve left. We’re here to make that experience a reality, and to help you write your own story at the very tip of the world.

We were three travelers on sabbatical — each taking a year off from our corporate careers to explore the world with no fixed plans, just a common desire to seek out the unfamiliar.

Our paths crossed unexpectedly at a women’s wrestling match in La Paz, Bolivia. The place was packed and the energy was high — and somehow we noticed each other and struck up a conversation. We were the only Southeast Asian faces in the crowd.

That moment led to days of exploring La Paz together, sharing stories over street food, swapping travel tips, and bonding over the unpredictability of life on the road.

Eventually we came to the question: What’s been your most unforgettable experience so far?

We all had the same answer — Antarctica.

    CO-FOUNDER

I am a seasoned backcountry hiker and have lived in cities across the globe. I took a year off my corporate career to explore the planet’s most iconic trails, including many in South America (Patagonia O trek, Salkantay trek, Santa Cruz trek).

All those views were incredible - but Antarctica still takes the cake as the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.

I want to help more travelers see that beauty for themselves. And on top of that, if you’re keen to tackle a majestic trail in South America, I have tons of recommendations.

Fun fact: I once survived on plain white bread for 7 days

Favorite animal: Penguins for sure. Did you know that Adélie penguin parents make their little chicks chase them for food? That’s tough love.

I am an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for wild, remote places—whether trail running, fishing, or freediving around the world. I spent more than a year backpacking around the world, Antarctica and South America were hands down my favorite regions.

Antarctica initially felt impossible. I spent more than 7 months planning for my trip because there was so much information to digest. That’s why I want to to guide and simplify your planning process, from all the knowledge of my research and first-hand experiences

Fun fact: I ran a 250km ultra marathon across the Gobi Desert

Favorite animal: Humpback Whales! My top cruise moment was when the captain yelled “WHALES” and we ran to the side of the cruise to see 7 humpbacks swimming right alongside us

“At a time when it’s possible for thirty people to stand on the top of Everest in one day, Antarctica still remains a remote, lonely and desolate continent.

A place where it’s possible to see the splendors and immensities of the natural world at its most dramatic and, what’s more, witness them almost exactly as they were, long, long before human beings ever arrived on the surface of this planet.

Long may it remain so.”
